Job Summary

Drive Reckitt’s operational decarbonisation agenda for Scope 1 and 2 across manufacturing sites. Provide strategic direction and oversight to co-create and deliver site decarbonisation programmes, renewable energy initiatives, and carbon masterplans in priority locations. Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, Finance, RPS, and Sustainability Reporting to translate complex data into actionable recommendations, improve performance tracking, and support climate disclosures and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the operational decarbonisation agenda for Scope 1 and 2, providing strategic direction and oversight across manufacturing sites.
•Lead development of decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy opportunities, from ideation through integration into operational plans and execution.
•Partner with internal teams to develop and advance site decarbonisation programmes and carbon/renewable masterplans, targets, and glidepaths.
•Translate complex data and technical details into actionable recommendations for Scope 1 and 2 reductions and support decisions on investment.
•Develop and deliver decarbonisation and renewable playbook and training, monitor trends/regulatory changes, and support climate disclosures and reporting (e.g., CDP).

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental engineering or sustainability leadership, ideally in global manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial settings.
•Solid understanding and experience working in a supply function.
•Experience partnering in a global organisation across Engineering, EHS, Finance, and manufacturing teams.
•Track record delivering complex sustainability programmes on time and within budget through project management.
•Deep technical knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, and decarbonisation strategies and best practices.
