Key Responsibilities

  • •Deploy right-sized Agile Systems Engineering governance and support System Design Reviews (SDRs) for rapid capability development.
  • •Use test as a design tool to mature components and subsystems from discrete bench tests through production-representative vehicle, mission, and support systems.
  • •Develop and sustain highly representative HIL/HITL physical integration environments, including mission-capable simulations and geometry-representative demonstrators for payload development.
  • •Develop, review, and execute right-sized test plans across integration environments; capture and report learnings and provide recommendations to inform design decisions.
  • •Conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), assess and mitigate hazards for safe testing, and support factory acceptance plus ground and flight tests; coordinate operational approvals with authorities.

Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or an aviation-related technical discipline.
  • •10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, integration, and test.
  • •Experience developing and operating HIL/HITL/IRON BIRD integration environments for flight vehicles.
  • •Vehicle/system level integration and test experience, preferably with Group 4/5 uncrewed and autonomous platforms, including ground and flight test.
  • •Experience across the test process: writing test plans/procedures, risk assessments, hazard mitigation, test readiness reviews, directing test events, and handling unplanned occurrences.
