Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and drive a non-Class-A Commercial Motor Vehicle in compliance with DOT and CarMax standards.
  • •Maintain accurate DOT logs and documentation while transporting vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • •Load, secure, transport, and unload CarMax vehicles, including hands-on freight handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • •Move vehicles between CarMax locations, approved vendors, and customers using a company-provided truck while keeping equipment clean and operational.
  • •Deliver vehicles accurately and on time and follow CarMax Standard Work to complete home deliveries and appraisal pickups with accurate paperwork.

Salary: USD 17.3 - 29.4 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •21 years of age or older with a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • •Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years and ability to meet CarMax Driver Safety Evaluation criteria.
  • •Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks, including securing vehicles during transport.
  • •Ability to climb, bend, and kneel to access and secure vehicles on multi-level transport decks.
  • •Must meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements and possess or obtain a DOT Medical Card before starting.
