Key Responsibilities

  • •Verify production processes, packaging, and food safety, including monitoring operational sanitation.
  • •Maintain proper documentation, inventory control, and release of hold product.
  • •Monitor lines and paperwork throughout the day to ensure specification compliance for each product.
  • •Verify GMPs and check labels, lot codes, bags, boxes, and pallets for correct adherence, printing, sealing, and stacking.
  • •Assist with quality issues by supporting production teams with workable solutions, including microbiological swabs and samplings at correct times/positions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance (or 6 months as a Wayne Farms employee).
  • •Intermediate math skills and computer skills.
  • •Strong attention to detail.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written); ability to communicate in multiple languages is preferred.
