Job Summary

Build and maintain automated UI and integration test frameworks for cloud-based environments, using Python with Pytest and Playwright (and/or Selenium). Lead scalable test automation infrastructure, design test plans and suites for functionality, performance, scalability, and security, and develop load/performance testing frameworks. Partner with DevOps, development, and product to define quality requirements, integrate CI/CD, add monitoring/observability with Grafana or Datadog, and report quality metrics.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Playwright for cloud-based AWS/Azure/GCP environments.
•Lead development of robust, scalable test automation infrastructure with high coverage and fast feedback cycles.
•Collaborate with development, product, DevOps, and QA teams to define, review, and validate quality requirements across the lifecycle.
•Design and execute test plans, test suites, and scripts to validate functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
•Implement monitoring/observability for test and production environments (Grafana/Datadog), continuously improve testing methodologies, and analyze/report quality metrics and defects.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer designing automation frameworks and test infrastructure for both frontend and backend.
•Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools for UI and integration testing.
•Experience with Python and Pytest in automation and quality assurance.
•Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and developing large-scale automation systems and CI/CD pipelines.
•Hands-on with API testing and performance tools (JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner), plus experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
