Key Responsibilities

  • •End-to-End Design: Lead the design process from concept to implementation, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and design specifications.
  • •User-Centered Design: Apply user-centered design principles to create solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user needs and business objectives.
  • •Design System: Contribute to and maintain Filevine's design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
  • •Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
  • •Design Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, review design work, and help establish best practices within the design team.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of product design experience, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, or legal technology.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • •Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience designing complex workflows.
  • •Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite), understanding of design systems, and familiarity with front-end development principles.
  • •Excellent communication and presentation abilities, strong collaboration skills, and the capacity to give and receive constructive feedback.
