Key Responsibilities

  • •Research and develop GPU-accelerated techniques for applications in the federal ecosystem, including HPC workloads such as CFD, EDA, graph theory, and weather/climate modeling.
  • •Work with application developers to design and optimize parallel algorithms and data structures, using reference code development and direct contributions to the software stack.
  • •Collaborate with NVIDIA teams across architecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software to influence architectures, software, and programming models.
  • •Perform in-depth analysis and optimization to maximize performance on current and next-generation GPU architectures.
  • •Travel occasionally for conferences and on-site visits with developers.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an MS or PhD degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM field.
  • •Be fluent in C/C++ with strong software design, programming techniques, and algorithms.
  • •Have 5+ years of relevant experience with parallel programming, ideally CUDA C/C++, OpenMP, MPI, or SHMEM.
  • •Demonstrate strong computer science fundamentals, including parallel data structures and algorithms.
  • •Show a passion for optimizing high-performance parallel code for exceptionally fast execution.
