  • •Conduct ecological impact assessment and offsetting and support internal clients delivering ecological requirements within multidisciplinary tenders and projects.
  • •Plan, deliver and manage ecology surveys; analyze and evaluate results; prepare impact assessments and design mitigation strategies.
  • •Provide excellent client service through risk-based strategic advice and high-quality technical reporting.
  • •Identify and implement efficiencies and digital solutions to collaborate and work smarter.
  • •Support the team’s strategic growth, technical excellence, and innovation, including assistance with project management and technical/financial performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated technical knowledge of flora, fauna and ecological communities in Queensland (6+ years), with experience in NSW or NT advantageous.
  • •Ability to lead project delivery, engage with clients, and mentor a high-performing team across field and office-based work.
  • •Experience in environmental approval processes and impact assessment reporting.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
  • •Proficiency with GIS tools such as ESRI ArcGIS Pro (advantageous) and willingness to undertake fieldwork across Queensland with a valid Class C driver’s license and 4WD experience.
