Key Responsibilities

  • •Support qualification of connector and interconnect component site capabilities and product readiness.
  • •Act as a technical contributor in commodity teams by evaluating quality and reliability performance data and informing sourcing strategy.
  • •Drive defect reduction and process re-engineering for interconnect components.
  • •Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • •Engage early in NPI and provide inputs for concurrent engineering, including DFM, FMEA, tooling design, plating, and validation testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field, with 5-7+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • •Hands-on exposure to interconnect and connector technologies at the application and component level, including PCB attach fundamentals.
  • •Familiarity with mechanical and electrical design principles such as tolerance analysis, fabrication methods, materials selection, plating, and validation testing (Signal Integrity fundamentals a plus).
  • •Experience with problem-solving and process improvement methodologies (8D, Lean Six Sigma) and FMEA facilitation techniques.
  • •Experience managing multiple projects and tools, with on-site support at manufacturing facilities.
