Enhance teaching and learning at MBZUAI by designing evidence-based instructional strategies, guidelines, and policies. Collaborate with CTL leadership, staff, and faculty to deliver teaching and learning events, coordinate inclusive initiatives, and administer teaching innovation incentives. Conduct research to develop resources for internal and external dissemination, support faculty development programs, and help run student-centered initiatives like peer tutoring and teaching assistant certification.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with CTL leadership and faculty to implement and improve teaching and learning events and initiatives.
•Conduct research and develop evidence-based guidelines and resources for internal and external publication through the CTL public website.
•Coordinate events and engage external speakers and collaborators to support AI and teaching/learning dialogue.
•Support faculty and student development programs, including New Faculty Orientation, professional development, and peer observation, plus student-centered initiatives.
•Coordinate internal communications and help propose new initiatives and other duties as directed by the line manager.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in higher education.
•Expertise in curriculum design, learning outcome assessment, and innovative pedagogical practices.
•Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders while managing multiple priorities.
•High proficiency in verbal and written English and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia.
