Job Summary

Support Structural Engineering by providing CAD (Revit) drafting and BIM modelling for building projects. Produce general arrangement, section and detail drawings, coordinate Architectural and MEP models, ensure CAD/BIM standards compliance, and support project delivery with timely, accurate drawings.

Key Responsibilities

•Produce the model to a high standard, developing general arrangement, section and detail drawings from Engineer’s sketches and turning them into coordinated BIM models
•Coordinate architectural and MEP models on projects and ensure compatibility with CAD standards
•Plan drawing production with project teams, setting deliverables, resource needs, deadlines and priorities
•Perform self-checks on models and drawings to ensure quality and compliance with QA procedures
•Mentor and coach colleagues on intermediate CAD functions and promote knowledge sharing

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Civil or Higher; 8+ years' experience in detailing/drafting structural drawings with team management in a similar role
•Expert knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD; ability to coach junior staff
•Knowledge of Uniclass 2015, PAS1192/BS1192 standards and working within a CDE
•Experience producing high-quality CAD drawings and developing building models from engineer sketches
•Familiarity with BIM execution plans, QA procedures, document control and CAD standards
