Job Summary

Develop and execute validation strategies for Mid-Vin Buck power solutions, including building validation boards (schematics, layout) and designing complete validation plans. Define hardware/software/instrumentation validation strategy, create and implement test cases using tools and scripting languages, and perform system-level and parametric bench testing. Partner with design, firmware, and application engineers to debug device/setup issues and deliver fixes or FW workarounds, while mentoring junior validation engineers.

•Develop validation boards including schematics and layout aligned to customer use cases and EVM closeness.
•Build, design, and document full validation plans based on device and system environment understanding.
•Define validation strategy across hardware, software, and instrumentation; create validation test cases.
•Bring devices on the bench and perform system-level and parametric testing with strong break-the-part mindset.
•Partner with design, firmware, and application teams to debug issues, implement FW workarounds, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
•5+ years of relevant experience (8+ preferred).
•Experience in validation engineering of analog products.
•Demonstrated hardware debugging skills and the ability to define and execute validation plans.
•Expertise with tools such as Simplis, Matlab, Altium, PSPICE, LabView, and/or Python.
