Key Responsibilities

  • •Set operational objectives and goals for the software engineering/architecture team to ensure timely project delivery.
  • •Provide guidance on planning, directing, coordinating, and managing software engineering/architecture initiatives and processes throughout the lifecycle.
  • •Guide the architectural vision by translating product requirements into work items and ensuring tasks are accomplished.
  • •Ensure quality assurance and automated testing requirements are met, and instill best practices for software engineering and architecture documentation.
  • •Manage resources, streamline processes, report project status, and ensure RFP responses include timelines, deliverables, and budget.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid line manager experience in a technical lead capacity, with the ability to build a cohesive team and manage people effectively.
  • •Experience building, managing, and leading software development, engineering, and/or architecture teams.
  • •Experience delivering large software projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • •Knowledge of software engineering and architecture lifecycle processes, including analysis, development, architecture, engineering, design, coding, testing, and problem resolution.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, plus relevant certifications.
