Key Responsibilities

•Set operational objectives and goals for the software engineering/architecture team to ensure timely project delivery.
•Provide guidance on planning, directing, coordinating, and managing software engineering/architecture initiatives and processes throughout the lifecycle.
•Guide the architectural vision by translating product requirements into work items and ensuring tasks are accomplished.
•Ensure quality assurance and automated testing requirements are met, and instill best practices for software engineering and architecture documentation.
•Manage resources, streamline processes, report project status, and ensure RFP responses include timelines, deliverables, and budget.

Key Requirements

•Solid line manager experience in a technical lead capacity, with the ability to build a cohesive team and manage people effectively.
•Experience building, managing, and leading software development, engineering, and/or architecture teams.
•Experience delivering large software projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
•Knowledge of software engineering and architecture lifecycle processes, including analysis, development, architecture, engineering, design, coding, testing, and problem resolution.
•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, plus relevant certifications.
