Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I focused on consultative selling in a Financial Center, learning through a 4–8 week onboarding and certification program. Build customer profiles using Financial Needs Assessment, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and use marketing tools to set appointments for periodic financial reviews. Cross-sell to grow households, coordinate referrals with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment), and process teller transactions while maintaining risk and ethical compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, including a certification at the end of the program.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the company value proposition.
•Use CAMP and other approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers, support outside sales activities, refer customers to assigned business partners, and process teller transactions while working as platform staff.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Must be able to obtain S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through NMLS.
