Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop efficient, highly scalable, and secured services to build and integrate e-commerce solutions for TikTok Shop.
  • •Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other disciplines to explore next-generation shopping experiences.
  • •Build an intuitive and reliable shopping experience covering browsing, checkout, shopping, returns, and refunds.
  • •Develop TikTok Shop’s Shop Tab platforms and tools for merchants, clients, and businesses to manage campaigns and deliver insights.
  • •Research, design, and develop computer and network software, and update/extend existing software capabilities including testing and validation procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies) or related fields.
  • •Experience building highly scalable backend services and systems using Java, Golang, or Python.
  • •Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, and proficiency in at least one coding language (e.g., Go, Java, C++).
  • •Experience developing backend systems with e-commerce products and/or a related vertical industry (monetization, retail, travel, financial services, etc.).
  • •Good understanding of business/technical abstraction and system module design, with large-scale website architecture experience.
