Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain the plant quality system to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • •Lead management representative activities for audits and support customer and internal quality inquiries with technical leadership.
  • •Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products; analyze and distribute testing data; and ensure food safety and quality systems meet specifications.
  • •Manage the customer complaint program and corrective action processes, including nonconformities, CAPA, and root-cause investigations to effective long-term resolutions.
  • •Maintain lab equipment (including calibration, repair, servicing, and supplies) and support new product and process introductions with Operations, Technical, and R&D.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant working experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment, including implementing and maintaining quality systems and food safety standards.
  • •Extensive hands-on knowledge of quality system and food safety system standards, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • •In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical, pharmaceutical, and food packaging products.
  • •Experience leading corrective actions and CAPA processes, including root cause investigations and long-term resolutions.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (or equivalent experience), plus training in problem solving, coaching, facilitating, project management, and team dynamics.
