Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and assist mechanical systems development for hyperscale data centers, including planning, layouts, modeling, hydraulic analysis, and pipe sizing.
  • •Oversee and direct A/E design consultants; peer review deliverables and provide comments, resolutions, and recommendations including value engineering.
  • •Analyze redundancies, failure modes, and single points of failure (SPOFs) and verify conformance with RAM modeling.
  • •Occasionally assist or lead mechanical issue solutioning for outages, fleet-wide improvements, and operational campus needs in support of DCOps partners.
  • •Support construction/design change processes by triaging engineering issues, generating upgrade/improvement options, and communicating findings via presentations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 170,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • •Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience, including at least 2 years in data center construction.
  • •Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • •Knowledge of cross-disciplinary collaboration across structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams.
  • •Solid understanding of large-scale data center mechanical infrastructure, including cooling and fire protection, and experience coordinating scope across multiple trades.
