Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites across UI and API layers following test pyramid and quality engineering best practices.
  • •Build and execute automation using Java (8+), Playwright (Java), REST-assured, and TestNG (or equivalent test runners).
  • •Create and improve reusable automation frameworks including Page Object Model, utilities, test data management, and reporting.
  • •Implement robust API validations such as response assertions, contract checks, and JSON schema validation.

Key Requirements

  • •2–6 years of hands-on experience in test automation or quality engineering.

  • •Experience with Playwright (Java) for UI automation (or strong UI automation with ability to ramp up quickly).
  • •Experience with REST-assured and test orchestration using TestNG or JUnit.
  • •Knowledge of STLC, test design techniques, risk-based testing, and CI/CD with source control (e.g., Jenkins, Git/GitHub).
