Job Summary

Support delivery of high-value infrastructure projects in a PMCM Build team, coordinating multidisciplinary groups for public sector clients (including education). You’ll assist in programme cost and quality management, develop delivery plans, and help lead project teams and contract activities from feasibility to operation, contributing to on-time, on-budget outcomes across multiple UK locations.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the management of projects from RIBA 1 to 6, providing consultancy project management services and guidance to the client throughout the project.
•Assist in developing plans and strategies to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
•Support and manage the project team to ensure alignment and performance.
•Assist in identifying and resolving differences between individuals or interest groups.
•Support the Lead Consultant in agreeing contracts on behalf of the client, coordinating with legal representatives and monitoring compliance and variances.
•Assist the Lead Consultant in producing Feasibility Reports, incorporating inputs from diverse sources and delivering high-quality reports to the client.
•Monitor progress against agreed programmes and help determine strategies to stay on programme or mitigate timing risks.

Key Requirements

•Experience on public sector projects with Local and Central Government agencies, especially Education, is desirable.
•Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations applicable to infrastructure projects (CDM).
•Experience across project life-cycle stages from Feasibility through Operation is desirable.
•Experience supporting procurement, development of contractual documents and achieving Contract Close on projects.
•Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing project programmes, risks and cost control.
