Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Field Verification platform end-to-end: technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap, providing dedicated leadership for the domain.
  • •Move the platform from keep-the-lights-on to deliberate, prioritized development.
  • •Lead and grow the existing cross-functional team, building the organization as scope expands.
  • •Build operational efficiency capabilities for field officers, including trip/route optimization, task allocation, and capacity management.
  • •Own client-facing interfaces (APIs and webhooks) and deliver a native mobile experience, ensuring verification data is structured and auditable for compliance and ready for multi-country expansion.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of overall software engineering experience with substantial hands-on production engineering and strong backend depth, including Java and Spring Boot.
  • •At least 5 years of engineering leadership, including managing Engineering Managers.
  • •Credibility across backend, web, and mobile, with the ability to translate operational requirements into engineering solutions.
  • •Experience building platforms used by multiple internal business units with flexibility for unanticipated requirements.
  • •Strong pluses include location/geospatial data, route/trip or delivery optimization, compliance-oriented data structuring, and identity/KYC/verification platforms.
