Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure compliance with DoD Military Service and/or DDESB-approved site plans.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site munitions response and operational range clearance projects.
  • •Lead and supervise multiple UXO field teams, providing technical guidance and operational oversight.
  • •Review daily field reports and project documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • •Assess risks for movement of UXO or DMM within a Munitions Response Site (MRS) or operational range and approve movement when risks are acceptable.

Key Requirements

  • •Meet the functions of a UXO Technician III, UXO Quality Control Specialist (UXOQCS), and UXO Safety Officer (UXOSO) as defined in DoD Explosives Safety Board Technical Paper 18.
  • •Minimum 9 years of EOD/UXO experience, including significant UXO remediation and/or range clearance experience.
  • •Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience overseeing UXO or related field operations.
  • •Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with annual refreshers and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Training certification.
  • •US citizenship is required due to client requirements.
