Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop application benchmarks, tools, and performance optimization methods for GPU/AI systems, including giant model training and inference.
  • •Study system bottlenecks and opportunities using system-level, data-driven analysis, then drive software–hardware co-design toward implementation.
  • •Develop a GPU/AI system TCO model based on application benchmarks and performance optimizations.
  • •Investigate emerging standards and technologies with industry consortiums and open standard committees and contribute research results.
  • •Partner with technology providers and suppliers to set up POCs/prototypes to evaluate new technologies or architectural designs.

Key Requirements

  • •Completing or having recently completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related majors.
  • •Thesis work focused on GPU/AI platform architecture and/or application performance optimization and/or software–hardware co-design.
  • •Deep understanding of computer system architecture, including GPU/AI SoC or platform architecture, interconnect fabric, and memory subsystem.
  • •Experience optimizing GPU/AI application performance and/or software–hardware co-design.
  • •Strong proficiency in software development in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python, plus understanding of GPU/AI virtualization and distributed systems.
