Key Responsibilities

  • •Embrace IB philosophies in library and primary classroom practice, aligning with daily learning and professional appraisal.
  • •Deliver assessment during lessons (where appropriate) and use formative and summative assessment tools.
  • •Maintain an attractive, ordered, and clean library environment and bulletin boards/displays reflecting PYP values and current curriculum topics.
  • •Select, order, process, and publicize library materials; manage access to diverse resources and databases for students and teachers.
  • •Coordinate and manage the Primary School library (including cataloguing), collaborate with the Secondary Teacher Librarian, and uphold safeguarding and child protection policies while supporting technology-embedded learning and virtual teaching when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in a classroom setting.
  • •2+ years of experience in a similar role is desired.
  • •Good levels of written and spoken English.
  • •Ability to work enthusiastically and effectively with students.
