Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct, control, and coordinate all aspects of plant operations on a production shift.
  • •Manage assigned shift production operations and ensure production objectives are met.
  • •Develop and train employees, including holding monthly shift safety meetings and addressing troubleshooting areas.
  • •Oversee production employees’ performance, providing feedback and managing employee grievances.
  • •Ensure safety and compliance with food safety programs (HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs) and USDA requirements, working with Quality Assurance to maintain a food-safe environment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience, or an Associate’s Degree with at least 6 years in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • •At least 5 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience managing 200+ persons.
  • •Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP.
  • •Proficient knowledge of production processes, general line maintenance, and staffing.
  • •Proficient English language skills (oral and written) and demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
