Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and control cost commitments and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Liaise with procurement, finance, and time-capture functions, and third parties to ensure accurate capture of procurement, materials, subcontract and labour manhour costs.
  • •Manage project work approval processes for accurate cost allocation and initial budget setup and approvals.
  • •Liaise with project management and planning to ensure accuracy in project cost and revenue phasings and forecasting, and revenue recognition in line with IFRS 16.
  • •Prepare and report project cost budgets and track actual vs forecast costs, generating detailed cost reports in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors degree in relevant disciplines.
  • •Minimum 5 years of work experience in cost roles, with prior senior cost experience preferred.
  • •Excellent knowledge of cost software and related principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow.
  • •Advanced ability to develop project cost budgets and change estimates.
  • •Strong understanding of earned value application, cost/schedule variance analysis and trending, and what-if scenarios.
