Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to understand features to verify.
  • •Create test plan documentation covering interactions with hardware, firmware, and software driver use cases.
  • •Build directed and random verification tests and estimate effort to implement new feature tests and test environment changes.
  • •Debug test failures to identify root causes and work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve defects and test issues.
  • •Review functional and code coverage metrics and update tests or constrain random tests to meet coverage requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficient in IP-level ASIC verification and debugging firmware/RTL using simulation tools.
  • •Hands-on experience with UVM testbenches and working in Linux and Windows environments.
  • •Experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog, plus C and C++ for verification and debugging.
  • •Developing UVM-based verification frameworks, processes, and flows, including directed/random verification.
  • •Good knowledge of SystemC and TLM, with scripting experience (Perl, Ruby, Makefile, or shell).
