Job Summary

Lead the development and scaling of an Operational AI platform, owning strategy, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence for Couchbase’s AI Cloud Platform capabilities. You’ll guide a large engineering organization to deliver an operational data platform for AI, make platform architecture decisions across databases, PaaS, and AI, and ensure production-grade scalability, reliability, performance, and security. Partner with Product, Design, SRE, and go-to-market teams to drive customer adoption and platform competitiveness.

•Own architectural decisions across multiple platform capabilities spanning databases, PaaS, and AI.

•Partner with Product, Field, Support, and Customer Success to deliver enterprise AI capabilities.
•Mentor engineering managers and senior leaders, and drive execution excellence using metrics and KPIs.
