Key Responsibilities

•Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre–M&A contracts (NDAs, confidentiality agreements, NRLs, joinders, engagement letters) while meeting turnaround times.
•Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, building trusted advisor relationships with investment funds and asset managers.
•Maintain and update client playbooks to ensure consistency and quality across contract negotiations.
•Collaborate with and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, reviewing their work and supporting a high-performing team culture.
•Contribute to continuous improvement of the legal technology suite by identifying ways to innovate using AI-backed tools.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of post–law school corporate or transactional experience with a track record independently negotiating pre–M&A contracts (NDAs, NRLs, joinders, engagement letters).
•Licensed to practice law in the Americas (US/Canada).
•Experience working with asset managers, investment banks, or other financial services firms.
•Commercially minded, client-focused, and able to communicate legal advice crisply and concisely.
•Comfortable working with and evolving a legal technology suite (e.g., AI tools, HighQ), with interest in legal tech/AI.
