Job Function: Laboratory & Clinical Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze routine samples in the clean-room fab and Chemical Laboratory environment by following Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and reporting results to internal customers.
  • •Run analytical techniques and instrumentation (e.g., ICP-MS, ICP-OES, ion chromatography) to identify compounds and provide quantitative compound information.
  • •Prepare samples and reagents, including processes such as vapor phase deposition (VPD), extraction, digestion, and series dilution.
  • •Develop and document new analytical techniques, and support equipment installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • •Provide mentoring/training for junior team members, deliver chemistry-related consultation to internal customers, and uphold safety procedures including TPM activities and 6S audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science focused on chemistry or related fields (e.g., Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Materials Science, Life/Biomedical Science, Environmental Engineering).
  • •Experience with Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) or similar instrumentation.
  • •Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
  • •Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across different levels.
  • •Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry (plus) and interest/knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron (preferred).
