Key Responsibilities

  • •Hire, manage, mentor, and coach a geographically distributed infrastructure and SRE engineering team across SF Bay Area, India, and Europe.
  • •Own the architecture and evolution of Postman’s cloud agnostic infrastructure, driving improvements to reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • •Own the SRE function end to end, including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, and incident management.
  • •Define and track the infrastructure and reliability roadmap, translating initiatives into milestones and driving delivery with minimal customer impact.
  • •Partner with engineering, product, and security stakeholders to align infrastructure/reliability priorities, represent SRE in leadership forums, and uphold reliability best practices across the organization.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or site reliability engineering, with 7+ years in an engineering management or leadership role.
  • •Experience managing geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • •Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Cluster API, Argo, Helm, and Crossplane in large-scale production environments.
  • •Experience with service mesh technologies, including Istio.
  • •Deep experience building or leading SRE practices: on-call, incident management, SLIs/SLOs, and error budgets.
