Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage cost-focused project management work from early stages through completion for construction projects.
  • •Develop and present final cost plans, including estimating, rate analysis, and cost planning for electrical installations in buildings.
  • •Perform tendering and procurement activities, including pre-qualification, tender list preparation, tender analysis, tender reporting, and compiling contractual documents.
  • •Support value engineering and risk management, and provide cost-perspective advice on contracts.
  • •Handle post-contract cost variances and change control support, and produce monthly post-contract cost reports for client presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience in cost management or construction projects, such as cost manager or procurement roles.
  • •Strong understanding of quantity surveying, tools, and methodologies.
  • •Native-level Japanese proficiency.
  • •Proficiency in Cost-X or equivalent cost estimation software; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
