Key Responsibilities

  • •Steward shared datasets and systems in scope for audit, including financial systems, recordkeeping, and downstream reporting processes.
  • •Improve governance and coordination around upstream schema and logic changes that impact downstream systems and audit-related processes.
  • •Support technical analysis and downstream impact assessment during change management to improve visibility for audit-scoped datasets, tables, and systems.
  • •Build and maintain reusable audit-ready dataset patterns with automated validation, data quality checks, and monitoring.
  • •Review audit-scoped processes and datasets to identify operational pain points and propose reengineering and longer-term process improvements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,400 - 210,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering, ideally supporting internal audit, risk, or SOX compliance in fintech/payments/financial markets/crypto.
  • •Experience managing and designing data architecture in a regulated environment with governance, traceability, and audit requirements built in.
  • •Hands-on experience building and owning production data pipelines using dbt and Airflow (or equivalent orchestration).
  • •Full mastery of SQL (joins, CTEs, analytical functions) and strong Python proficiency for pipeline development and analysis.
  • •Ability to document technical and business requirements (metadata, KPI definitions, business rules, data process flows, and data dictionaries) and support data administration tasks like scheduling and troubleshooting ETL workflows.
