Key Responsibilities

•Innovate and deploy Adyen's AI strategy, focusing on practical application of GenAI and other AI methodologies in finance, including AI agents for data analysis and operational workflows and human-in-the-loop for integrity risk.
•Build production-grade applications by turning research papers into robust, scalable code and aligning engineering and scientific practices across teams.
•Optimize and scale AI initiatives by defining long-term vision for AI in finance, ensuring safe innovation and regulatory alignment.
•Think outside the box to drive innovation, deliver value-driven assignments, and unblock teams to maximize organizational impact.
•Provide mentorship and cross-organizational sponsorship, fostering collaboration and hands-on problem solving across engineering teams.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
•Strong engineering mindset with a track record of production-ready, clean, scalable code.
•Experience taking cutting-edge AI research papers and implementing them into production-quality code.
•Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including engineers and executives.
•Experience or strong interest in AI-enabled fintech or data-driven financial products.
