Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and evaluate core algorithms for the self-improving reasoning engine
  • •Explore and develop data-efficient methods to enable systems to learn to reason with LLMs
  • •Investigate probing techniques to extract hidden knowledge from language models and synthesize reliable answers
  • •Advance the core self-improvement loops that enable autonomous improvement over time
  • •Publish research findings and contribute to the team’s publication record and ideas-to-action pipeline

Key Requirements

  • •Deep, first-principles understanding of LLM reasoning, failure modes, and their quirks from hands-on experience
  • •Expertise in ML algorithm design, search, or optimization and knowledge of limitations of common LLM-training methods
  • •Ability to design novel, data-efficient methods for discovering optimal, task-specific reasoning strategies
  • •Passion for designing core self-improvement loops enabling autonomous learning from problems
  • •Strong publication record with a track record of turning ideas into tangible results
