Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a portfolio of circa 100 donors and prospective donors, maintaining close relationships and progressing prospects to the point of asking for support.
  • •Own end-to-end prospect relationship management from initial research through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
  • •Secure donation pledges and develop a sustainable pipeline, delivering against targets such as money raised, asks made, meetings secured, and gift close rate.
  • •Work with internal academics and across university teams to showcase projects, bring campaign priorities to life, and support donors’ giving journeys.
  • •Record meetings and proposals in Blackbaud CRM and handle communications and paperwork such as proposals, first approach messages, thank-you letters, and gift documentation.

  • •Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualifications); where no equivalent qualification is held, significant relevant experience in a similar role.
