Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical equipment package specification, design, and procurement for static and rotating equipment.
  • •Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications throughout delivery.
  • •Plan, schedule, and supervise mechanical discipline activities, including manhour estimating and bid/tender support.
  • •Manage mechanical engineering and design budgets and report progress, productivity, and corrective actions for concerns in progress/quality.
  • •Liaise with licensors, equipment vendors, and OEMs; define third-party scope, manage vendor documentation, and provide site technical support (e.g., inspections, FAT).

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Minimum 15 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • •Minimum 15 years' proven capability in an engineering design company.
  • •Expertise in static and rotating equipment, package specification, and procurement.
  • •Experience working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams; Middle East experience is an advantage.
