Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop firmware IP subsystems for SSD products to meet or exceed technical specification matrix requirements.
  • •Create firmware unit and functional tests to ensure quality, functional, and performance requirements at integration milestones.
  • •Provide consistent, detailed updates to management and cross-functional partners on firmware development activities and project status.
  • •Build and maintain collaborative, constructive relationships across peers, management, and the firmware team.
  • •Continuously improve technical capability and team involvement, morale, and productivity through ongoing personal and team development.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters or Bachelors in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • •Minimum 2 years of embedded firmware development and debugging experience.

  • •Expertise in programming languages and tooling/environments for firmware development, including C and Rust (examples provided).
  • •Experience with storage interfaces such as PCIe/NVMe is a plus; NAND flash and non-volatile storage experience is also a plus.
