Job Summary

Provide second line of defense oversight for AI, Generative AI, data, and emerging technology initiatives across a highly regulated financial services environment. Assess complex AI use cases, challenge control effectiveness, and influence risk-based decisions while translating laws, frameworks, and supervisory guidance into actionable governance. Lead cross-functional teams to identify, assess, aggregate, and mitigate risks and support regulatory requirements, examinations, and executive/board communications.

•Communicate results of AI and technology risk assessments to governance committees and senior leadership to influence decision-making.
•Develop processes and procedures to implement new risk policies, practices, risk appetites, and solutions for holistic risk management.
•Identify, assess, aggregate, and manage risks and controls by coordinating enterprise stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
•Craft risk and compliance communications for executives and board members, and execute compliance risk management activities per enterprise standards.
•Coordinate regulatory requirements, respond to requests, and ensure examinations are executed; formulate and review stress test plans.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
•8+ years of progressive experience in risk management, compliance, technology risk, information security, audit, legal, data governance, or regulatory oversight in financial services or insurance (including AI and Generative AI initiatives).
•Expert knowledge of laws, regulations, supervisory guidance, and industry frameworks related to technology, data management, cybersecurity, model risk management, and privacy for AI and Generative AI.
•Proven ability to provide credible challenge and independent oversight, influence decisions, and drive accountability across senior executives.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including use of risk metrics, KRIs, trend analysis, and executive-level reporting.
