Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology patient care in line with clinical privileges and relevant evidence-based standards.
  • •Perform cardiology consultations, admissions, and procedures including stress testing, nuclear cardiology, ECG interpretation, Holter monitoring, echocardiography and Doppler, cardiac catheterization, and pacemaker-related care.
  • •Conduct regular ward rounds to formulate multidisciplinary treatment plans and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within specialty scope.
  • •Participate in department on-call rota, respond to emergencies, and advise/participate with specialty-related problems as required.
  • •Supervise senior registrars, registrars, residents, nurses, and other paramedical staff; lead departmental quality/performance improvement and participate in CME and committee meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum five (5) years post-qualification experience.
  • •Current valid license to practice medicine in the area of specialty.
  • •Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and/or current license to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
  • •Either American Board, Canadian Fellowship, MRCP, or an equivalent qualification.
  • •Desirable: additional specialty-related qualifications and additional experience in skills related to the specialty.
