Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee projects design and release of chiller and heat pump equipment designs and subsystems from concept generation through design deliverables.
  • •Facilitate cross-functional development and delivery of market requirements (MRD) into product requirements documentation (PRD) and product design documentation (PDD).
  • •Ensure proper engineering specifications are applied for selection and qualification of purchased and internally supplied components/assemblies.
  • •Lead concept design reviews, technical design reviews, detailed model reviews, and drawing reviews for components, subsystems, and the overall chiller/heat pump system.
  • •Own product cost models, incorporate design-for-manufacturing (DFM), and partner across product management, manufacturing, quality, and project management to track compliance to requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related technical discipline) and at least 7 years of work experience in design or manufacturing of industrial products.
  • •Demonstrated experience with HVAC equipment and systems.
  • •Experience using PLM and CAD systems (preferably Creo).
  • •Ability to lead as the responsible engineer through coaching, mentoring, and oversight of the design team.
  • •Schedule development and resource planning experience, with data manipulation in Excel or Tableau.
