Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure safe execution of mechanical and multi-disciplinary works by managing and authorizing permits-to-work (PTW) as the designated Area Authority.
  • •Drive site safety culture, enforce HSE compliance, and achieve zero incidents through proactive risk management and intervention.
  • •Act as Area Authority for issuing, reviewing, and controlling PTW for mechanical and related activities, ensuring authorization, risk assessment, and HSE alignment.
  • •Monitor and guide contractors/subcontractors executing mechanical works safely, in compliance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
  • •Verify mechanical installations, piping works, and equipment erection against IFC drawings; resolve scope/schedule conflicts between stakeholders and close QA/QC non-conformities.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Diploma with a minimum of 10 years Oil and Gas industry experience.
  • •Experience in an Oil and Gas operating company is highly desired and may be considered in lieu of capital project experience.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a strong command of English.
  • •Ability to travel extensively for multi-week periods and adjust work location to support project needs.
  • •Proven track record overseeing and coordinating on-site activities to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
