Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect machines each shift (guarding, priority level, cycle times, material loading status) and check grinders after breaks.
  • •Verify hydraulic oil level and temperature, ensure machines are functioning properly, and perform required PMs and work orders.
  • •Make minor machine adjustments and/or repairs to correct quality issues, including changeover and startup equipment adjustments.
  • •Record machine issues and submit downtime reports; report parts used immediately for timely replacements.
  • •Provide assistance to Production Assistants, QAs, other Mechanics, Technicians, and Engineers.
