Job Summary

Lead and implement CI/CD pipelines for embedded device firmware within Emerson CPTI, shaping DevOps strategy, architecture, and test infrastructure. Collaborate with Firmware Design and Test teams to accelerate firmware delivery, improve build stability, and ensure regulatory and cybersecurity requirements. Based in Shakopee, you will influence end-to-end deployment from development to secure delivery across hazardous-area IIoT instruments.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, design, and evolve CI/CD pipelines purpose-built for embedded firmware development, testing, and secure delivery.
•Define and champion DevOps standards, driving adoption of modern build, integration, and release practices across the CPTI embedded devices.
•Partner with Firmware Design and Test teams to align DevOps capabilities with platform needs, enabling faster and more predictable firmware delivery.
•Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, improving build stability, test coverage, and end-to-end throughput.
•Contribute to the automated testing and validation of embedded firmware (new and legacy platforms) and develop/improve automated test infrastructure.
