Job Summary

Assist the Airport Manager in overseeing daily station operations and security, ensuring safety, on-time performance, efficiency, and smooth workflow. Supervise briefings/debriefings and key ground activities (ramp, check-in, safety, security), coordinate with Flight Operations and MCC during AOG, emergencies, and disruptions, and manage reporting for incidents/accidents and customer complaints. Monitor handling agents, SLAs, baggage handling, and airport revenue collections.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Airport Manager in monitoring operational and security functions to ensure smooth daily activities per station operation manuals.
•Supervise briefings/debriefings and ground activities (ramp, check-in, safety, security), reporting deviations and delays for resolution.
•Coordinate with Airport Manager, Flight Operations, and MCC to handle AOG, emergencies, technical delays, disruptions, and service recovery.
•Report incidents/accidents and ensure Dangerous Goods incidents are reported to local authorities and headquarters immediately.
•Issue instructions to handling agent staff, monitor GHAs/GSAs and SLAs, analyze delay/performance data, and oversee baggage tracing and customer complaint resolution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor degree in Management/Administration or an equivalent diploma with relevant work experience.
•Basic airport safety and security procedures and regulations training.
•IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, Passenger Handling, and Ground Operations Procedures trainings or certificates.
•Proficiency in Passenger Handling System and Departure Control System (DCS).
•3–5 years’ relevant experience in airlines/aviation/ground handling, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role leading a station team.
