Job Summary

Lead the technical execution of multidisciplinary water infrastructure projects with a strong focus on EC Africa delivery. Manage design teams, budgets, risks, and client communications while applying AECOM project management practices and GEP frameworks. Leverage broad engineering expertise across disciplines to guide critical design decisions, ensure scope alignment, and deliver high-quality results on multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical execution of multidisciplinary engineering projects with a focus on water infrastructure and ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
•Coordinate closely with client and design teams to clarify expectations, approve scope changes, and manage risk and reporting.
•Guide design discussions using a strong water infrastructure background and ensure quality procedures across EC Africa projects.
•Prepare cost proposals, project reports, and KPI-based analyses to support management decisions and client communications.
•Support Lead Office Project Managers and ensure effective collaboration among assigned design teams across projects.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of relevant industry experience in water infrastructure design.
•Bachelor (BEng or BTech) or Master’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
•Active registration as a PrEng or PrTech Eng with ECSA or a similar accredited international body.
•Registration as a PrCPM with SACPCMP or certification as a PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-SP or PMI-ACP through PMI.
•Broader multidisciplinary exposure to support diverse project needs.
