Key Responsibilities

  • •Check delivery routes for the day, load and prepare your van, and ensure orders are efficiently delivered directly to customers.
  • •Complete appropriate vehicle safety checks and maintain full road compliance, health and safety.
  • •Act as a Waitrose brand ambassador with great customer service, helping customers with shopping and building rapport.
  • •Support the wider shop team when required with general shopkeeping tasks.
  • •When not out on the road, return to the shop to help with daily tasks such as stock replenishment and housekeeping.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 14.31 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • •Strong customer service skills and the ability to help customers with their shopping.
  • •Good time-management skills and the ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.
  • •Comfortable with physical requirements such as lifting crates and moving cages.
  • •IT literate and able to cope with the role’s daily delivery and shop-support duties.
