Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently operate and maintain critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in supercomputing data centers to ensure reliability and performance.
  • •Perform daily and routine inspections, proactively identify issues, and execute maintenance and troubleshooting of critical data center systems.
  • •Write and execute MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs, using site documentation such as Plans, Procedures, and Operations Manuals.
  • •Coordinate and supervise scheduled system shutdowns and support commissioning by witnessing startup, assisting with functional testing, and monitoring progress.
  • •Develop energy monitoring metrics, maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime, and support site safety and environmental compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical, or 2+ years of hands-on operations/facilities work experience in lieu of degree (data center experience preferred).
  • •Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering principles and systems.
  • •Experience with critical systems documentation including Plans, Procedures, and Operations Manuals.
  • •Experience with Building and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems and Operations.
  • •Strong troubleshooting skills, including experience with PLC-based control systems and/or Building Management Systems (BMS).
