Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, calibrate, and maintain advanced passenger behaviour simulation models across multiple transportation modes (rail, bus, air, and urban mobility).
  • •Apply static and dynamic modelling techniques using data inputs such as demographics, user preferences, and crowd dynamics.
  • •Validate, test, and document simulation models to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, software developers, and project managers) to integrate models into deliverables.
  • •Prepare technical reports, visualizations, and presentations; engage with clients to understand requirements and provide technical support.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience developing passenger behavior simulation models in transportation, urban planning, or related industries.
  • •Experience with both static and dynamic passenger modelling, including tools such as Legion, Viswalk, and MassMotion.
  • •Programming proficiency with Python and/or Excel with VBA.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex mathematical models and algorithms.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban/Transportation Planning, Civil/Transportation Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
