Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair complex truck systems (electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, air conditioning, fan clutches, engine electronics, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials).
  • •Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using test instruments; road test vehicles to confirm malfunctions and proper operation.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Document findings and complete DOT forms accurately, uploading work photos and records via company standards using a company-issued iOS device and TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education/certification and/or 5 years related experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Must be able to successfully complete and pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a valid DOT medical card with required remaining validity).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •21 years or older; safe drivers needed with a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
