Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in post-show sorting of all recycling, composting, and landfill materials.
  • •Serve as an ambassador to band members, helping them understand their role in achieving venue sustainability goals.
  • •Support employee engagement programs such as water bottle refill punch cards, post-show sort giveaways, and new ideas.
  • •Engage fans and encourage participation in sustainability programs through activities or education.
  • •Participate in Zero Waste Captain training.

Key Requirements

  • •Passion for the environment and experience in events management and/or operations.
  • •Strong organization and effective communication, with the ability to provide direction and also jump in as needed.
  • •Ability to spend most of the shift walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, with significant time spent sorting materials.
  • •Must be able to work well with other departments and support teamwork.
  • •Positive attitude and a creative, problem-solving mindset; experience in events and zero-waste events is a plus.
